So you're on vacation here on Maui and you miss fishing in your favorite ponds and streams. Try the Pacific Ocean! Hawaii is one of the best places in the world for fishing, and if you haven't tried ocean fishing, you are missing out on a whole new world in sport fishing. Who is the best on the island in our opinion? "Maui Fun Charters", hands down, will give you the best Maui fishing experience. Why is it the best? This charter is run by the Bryce brothers, who were born and raised on the island. What's so great about them? They know Maui like the back of their hand, and whether they are hunting on the slopes of Haleakala, or fishing in the surrounding waters, we are still waiting to see something the two of them can't handle. While Kelly Bryce became a ship captain at just 20 years old, Monroe Bryce has a B.S. in Biology at the University of Hawaii so he can tell you not only the common names, but the Hawaiian names and scientific names of all the fish you hook. The two of them are laid back, bright, and never run out of stories to tell.

This intrepid pair of brothers will take you out on a private tour with no more than six passengers in order to ensure that everyone gets plenty of personal attention. The charter goes out at 7:30am and comes back in at 11:30am. You are free to keep your catch, and some will be highly recommended for your dinner. Bait, tackle and snacks are all provided. It doesn't matter if you have years of fishing experience, or if it will be your first time. The Bryce Boys will happily meet your specific needs.

Meet the Marjorie Ann. She will take care of you as well as the Bryce Boys. She's a 25' Farallon Cabin Cruiser and has been outfitted for Maui sport and bottom fishing as well as snorkeling, diving, and whale watching. There have been some recent upgrades to make her more accommodating to passengers including a restroom, fishing tackle and several of the latest electronics. You can find her at slip #97 at Ma'alaea Harbor, which has been her home for over fourteen years.

Aside from the excellent service and reliable boat, there is another feature that makes Maui Fun Charters unique. If you want to eat your catch, it's yours, but if you want to remember your catch, the Bryces can arrange fish printing. This is, in our opinion, a classier version of the typical wall trophy. A professional fish printing artist will recieve your catch and paint its natural colors on one of its sides, then press the fish onto special paper. Finally, detail is added to the resulting print. The Bryces have chosen Brian Heustis to provide this service as he is particularly talented in his art. You have to see the prints to truly appreciate their value. Brian Heustis's website is under construction and may take a while to load, but you can still see plenty of his fantastic work.
