Maui Christmas

Maui homes, condos, properties

We're guessing that a lot of you out there that spend your winters dealing with tire chains and snow ploughs get a little tired of freezing your noses off for the most celebrated holiday in the United States. Well fortunately, you can enjoy warm tropical weather without leaving the country. The truth is, the US is incredibly lucky to be able to call Hawaii the 50th state. While Hawaii is a little cooler in the winter, it won't get anywhere near the temperature that most states are accustomed to. We locals come to pieces when the temperature on island plummets to 72 degrees. Unless you're at the top of our dormant volcano, Haleakala, at a 10,023 ft elevation, it'll be shorts and t-shirts for you.

Let's not forget the whales! Hawaii is all about the ocean. The warm Pacific has us scuba diving and snorkeling amid stunning coral reefs and more marine life than you can imagine. It has us boating, fishing, and sailing under placid or powerful conditions, all year round. Best yet, its home to behemoth marine mammals that measure up to fifty feet in length and weigh up to 40 tons. If humpbck whales travel for thousands of miles from the coldest places on earth to spend the winter in Hawaii, they must be on to something, right? You may be thinking, "Travel these days makes the humpback's journey look easy," but the benefits far outweigh the costs if you are sick of the cold. Consider the whales' company as something of a holiday gift. We locals do.

Hawaii homes, condos, and land

It's our job to provide you with excellent vacation rental accommodations for your Maui vacation, and we think that West Maui is probably the best place to stay. That's why, when you decide to make the journey to visit, we have a number of great places in that area for you to stay. The Whaler, located on the world famous Kaanapali Beach, is the long-standing first choice for quality and convenience. All vacation rental units offer air conditioning, complete kitchen facilities, full bathrooms, cable TV, telephone and private lanai. Guests will enjoy tennis, Oceanside pool and spa, gym, saunas and barbecue areas. Right next door is Whalers Village, with great shopping, dining and entertainment. Just across the way is the beautiful Royal Kaanapali Golf Course.

Or you may consider the Kaanapali Alii. These luxuriously appointed condominiums are perfect accommodations for the family or even a honeymoon getaway. Complete with gourmet kitchen, washer/dryer, sunken living room, air conditioning, master bath Jacuzzi tub, cable TV, telephone and private lanai. The grounds are a tropical paradise, featuring a swimming pool, spa, sauna, gym, tennis and barbecue area. Shopping, dining, recreational activities and the breathtaking Kaanapali Beach are all at your fingertips! The Kaanapali Alii is considered one of Maui's finest.

Homes on Maui and real estate

And if you are more partial to Lahaina, the Lahaina Shores may be the best choice for you. Located directly on the beach at the edge of historic Lahaina Town, the Lahaina Shores is within walking distance of the restaurants, designer shops and art galleries along Front Street. Amenities include swimming pool, whirlpool spa, air conditioning, private lanai, TV, telephone and full kitchen. Take long relaxing walks along the beach, whale watch (in season) or simply relax in the sun and watch the rainbows.

But these are only a few of the choices you have with us at Vacation Maui. We want you to enjoy the perfect vacation in Hawaii, and Maui is widely recognized as the best place to vacation in the islands. We wouldn't be here if we didn't love it too much to leave. If you want to talk to us more, we will do our best to answer all your questions, and we look forward to helping you settle into paradise. Call us at (808) 661-3484. Mahalo, and thanks for reading!
