See the Haiku Flower Festival on Your Maui Vacation

Yet another wonderful vacation event to enjoy during your visit. Whether you are on a romantic honeymoon or a fun family vacation, or even if you are here on your own, you are sure to enjoy Maui's annual Ha'iku Flower Festival.
Some of the many fun things that you will see at the Flower Fest include a farmer's market, a grower's market, floral design and lei contests, "Made on Maui" crafts, live entertainment, a bake sale, plenty of fresh food, and a silent auction. There's not much they didn't think of, so it should be a very enjoyable experience for visitors who want to see a little bit of Maui's natural beauty and the creative efforts of its residents.
This will be an especially child friendly event, in case you are on a family vacation. There will be a keiki (kids) play zone with bouncy castles, dinosaur golf, a bean bag toss and more.
The live entertainment will include local rhythmic, latin and reggae enterteiners. Best of all, students from Haiku school will perform as will many other children from around the island.
This event will be open from 9a.m. to 3:30p.m. on March 14, 2009 at the Ha'iku Community Center on Hana Highway. Admission is free. Check the website for more details.
In case you are still on the hunt for the right accommodations to suit your vacationing needs, we recommend a look at the Kaanapali Shores Rentals and the Kaanapali Royal condos. Call (800) 676-4112 if you have any questions that are not answered on our website. We hope to see you soon. Mahalo for reading this week!
