Maui Full Moon Hike on your Vacation

Try a unique activity on your Maui honeymoon or family vacation. The Maui Coastal Land Trust will provide a guided full moon walk through the Waihee Coastal Dunes and Wetlands Refuge on May 8th from 6 to 9pm.
You probably know many people who have vacationed in Hawaii, but in all probability, they will not be able to boast such a unique experience as this.
The MCLT program manager, Scott Fisher, will guide you through the history, folklore and maybe even a few ghost stories associated to the area. There will be a light dinner, deserts and other refreshments available.
A $25 donation is requested to help support the efforts of MCLT. This non-political, non-profit organization has made a mission of protecting Maui's coastal areas. They act as stewards of areas with ocean access, endangered species habitat, culturally significant areas and agricultural land.
The hike will be two miles total, so sturdy walking shoes are recommended. This refuge covers 255 acres and has recently been restored by MCLT as an environmental, historic, educational and cultural resource. Children must be 14 years or older. Dogs are not allowed in this area. Reservations are required for participation in this activity. See the MCLT website for more information.
