Art Camp for Parents and Children on Maui
Summer Art Camp workshops are being held by Hui No'eau Visual Arts Center, a hub of art culture on Maui. Our little island has attracted some of the finest artists in the world to come and be inspired by its beauty and to open stunning art galleries for its visitors.
It shouldn't surprise you then that excellent art courses and workshops can be found on Maui, particularly through Hui Noeau. ARTcamp is a special program for parents and their kids to delve into fun artistic activities ranging from painting, jewelry making and ceramics to theater, digital photography, and creative movement. The workshop is geared towards bridging the gap between all these activities and finding a unifying theme among them.
The last focus from July 6th to the 10th was "Investigations in Hawaiian Culture & Self Identity. Workshops are scheduled to end on August 7th, so if you are coming to Maui on vacation soon, you may be able to catch one. If you are considering participating, but aren't sure about the program's quality, it has recieved excellent reviews from past participants. These workshops are led by highly qualified art teachers and practitioners.
The workshops are held between 8:30a.m. and 4p.m. on the days they are offered. Check out the Hui No'eau website for more information on this and other art programs.
