Affordable Maui Vacation

In a recent blog, we mentioned that United had added direct flights from Chicago to Maui. Now Alaska Airlines has added three weekly flights between San Jose, California and Kahului. They will also launch a daily service between Sacramento and Kahului.

According to Bill Sherry, the director of aviation for the San Jose Airport, travelers have been requesting flights to Maui, so he is happy to see that Alaska Air has chosen to fill that service.

More competition means higher affordability, as we know. In fact, Travelocity has recently listed Hawaii as one of the most affordable vacation spots for the spring break period between March and April, thanks to cheaper airfare, affordable accommodations and all the great deals being offered now.
