Spend Your Fourth Of July on Maui

West Maui Vacation Rentals

Here on Maui, Fourth of July celebrations are definitely among the most exciting of the holidays. In West Maui, spirits are high and revelers are jubilant throughout the evening as they enjoy a buzzing night life and thrilling fireworks. It's important to know where to go to get have the best Fourth of July experience.

Kaanapali Resort is hosting an all-day schedule of fun, free activities for keiki (children) on the Fourth of July, which is especially nice if you're on a family vacation with a budget. Keeping kids fed and entertained can really add up, and if you keep an eye out for free fun like this, you'll probably be surprised at how much money you'll save. Now especially, there are plenty of great deals to be found on your Maui vacation. If you need more information on Kaanapali Resort celebrations, call (800) 245-9229.

Another great place to be on the Fourth of July is Front Street in historic Lahaina town. If you've never been here before, it's a must see. There's always a buzz of activity on Front Street, which runs right on the edge of gently lapping water. When we say "at the edge" we mean it. The water isn't a stone's throw away from the street, it's a stone's drop away.

The street is lined with gorgeous art galleries, fun boutiques, exciting bars, incredible restaurants, quaint ice cream parlors and more. These establishments lie facing the ocean or over the ocean with unobstructed views of flaming sunsets and the neighboring islands of Molokai and Lanai.

On Lahaina's Front Street, there will be an old fashioned Independence Day celebration with all kinds of family activities throughout the afternoon and evening. The fun will include a parade, live music, snack booths and an incredible fireworks display over the ocean at 8p.m. If you need more information on the Front Street fun, call (808) 667-9193.
