Indulge in a Thanksgiving Feast on Your Maui Vacation

Ready to spend your Thanksgiving holiday in a tropical paradise? We don't blame you! While cool autumn breezes and colorful leaves can be delightful, sometimes you just need a change. For that, we have balmy ocean air and gently swaying palm trees. Maui's beaches are sunny and warm on most days of the year, even in the autumn and winter months. The cherry on top is that this is the time of year when the humpback whales start to arrive, so you may spot some from shore, especially if you're renting an oceanfront Maui condo. The many charms of the island are sure to sweep you up if you visit this month, but you may find yourself hankering for a hearty meal on Thanksgiving day. If so, you're in luck!

On Thursday, November 23rd, you and your fellow travelers can indulge in a Thanksgiving Day feast at the award-winning Tiki Terrace restaurant. They're really outdoing themselves this year, with two extravagant meals to choose from, depending on the time of day. They have a Thanksgiving Early Bird Buffet from 11am to 1pm and a Thanksgiving Night meal from 3pm to 7pm. In both cases, children ages 5 and under get in free with a paying adult.

The menu features Rotisserie Roasted Turkey and Kiawe Roasted Prime Rib as the main entrees, alongside traditional delights like sausage and sage stuffing, candied yams, and fresh cranberry sauce. Of course, you are on Maui, so the menu includes some dishes with local flair that you should really try, like poke, seafood, pork lau lau, and passion fruit glazed ham. How often can you experience a tropical spin on a traditional American holiday meal? But let's not forget the desserts, which include pumpkin pie, cakes, cheesecakes, or a build-your-own shortcake.

If you opt for the Thanksgiving Night meal instead of the Early Bird Buffet, you will get to enjoy live Hawaiian entertainment from 5pm to 8pm. Since the price per person is just a few dollars higher for the night meal, it's probably the best option. Speaking of prices:

Thanksgiving Early Bird Buffet (11 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
$47 for adults
$26 for children 6-12 years
Children 5 and under are free with a paying adult

Thanksgiving Night (3– 7 p.m.)
$53 for adults
$26 for children 6-12 years
Children 5 and under are free with a paying adult

Reservations are required, of course, so you can call yours in at 808-667-0124. In the meantime, if you're still in the process of planning your trip, feel free to reach out to us for assistance with your Maui vacation rental accommodations so you can enjoy a fantastic place to stay over the holiday.
