Try a Women's Surf Camp on Your Maui Vacation

If you love surfing, or you've always wanted to learn, why not enrich your Maui vacation with Women's Surf Camp? Hawaii is where it all began, so what better place to explore this exciting, iconic sport? The camp is for beginner and intermediate level surfers age 18 and over who want to enjoy an all-inclusive wellness retreat with surf coaching, oceanfront accommodations, three healthy meals per day, and an assortment of tropical activities and adventures over a six-day stay. It's a great way to shake things up, take a break from your routine, and treat yourself to a memorable experience that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and ready for whatever comes next. In fact, it's got all the makings of a great bucket list item.

When you arrive, you'll be greeted at the airport by the friendly staff who will whisk you off to Camp Olowalu, not far from where we operate our West Maui vacation rentals. The ocean off Olowalu is just gorgeous. No matter how high your expectations are, you won't be disappointed by the peaceful turquoise water and pink sunsets in the evenings. When you arrive at the camp, you'll find charming A-frame cabin facility perched alongside that beautiful ocean.

You'll start each day with a healthy, hearty breakfast prepared by a private chef before heading out to the designated surf spot for the week. When you get there, you'll receive the full benefit of a professional surf coaching team who want to help you build your confidence and your technique as you ride the wonderful Maui waves. Lunch will include equally nutritious fuel to keep you going as you set off on an afternoon adventure with your new friends. Depending on the season and the weather, you may find yourself doing yoga, snorkeling, paddle boarding, going out on a waterfall hike or whale watch, getting a massage, or maybe lounging in a hammock with a good book. The evenings include a tasty dinner and other activities like enjoying a bonfire or going out to a dance party. The possibilities are endless!

The price for this six-day all-inclusive surf retreat is $1,950, plus tax, but they do offer $100 discounts for those who book early. The camps are held four times a year, including one in winter, one in spring, and two in summer. The next one will be from January 14-19 (Sun-Fri), but if you need more time to plan, the other 2018 retreats will be held on March 5-10 (Mon-Sat), June 4-9 (Mon-Sat), and June 11-16 (Mon-Sat).

If you happen to be a returning camper, there's a $200 off discount, while kama'aina (which means Hawaii resident) comes with a 10% off discount. To get more details on Women's Surf Camp, visit www.mauisurfergirls.com. This could be a lot of fun, and a great way to kick off a vacation with your friends and family. You could just travel on ahead, enjoy your surf camp, and then meet up with your fellow travelers when they arrive. It could be an extended vacation just for you. And if you need help finding the right Maui vacation rental accommodations for the rest of your stay, you'll find our contact information at the bottom of the page. Mahalo!
