Puamana is truly one of the secrets of Maui. A secluded tropical garden community of 30 acres within walking distance of Lahaina and centered by the historic Clubhouse which has recently been renovated to reflect its historic heritage. At Puamana we have sandy beaches, 3 pools, one situated on the shoreline with waves pummeling the walls, a tennis court, a bocce court and a library in the Clubhouse. All the homes are privately owned. We, like many non-residents, offer our home for vacation rental when we are "off Island". Excellent eateries are close by. Our favorites include Cool Cat Cafe for burgers and ribs, Pacifi'O for a sumptuous dinner out and Gerard's for a special occasion. However, the greatest attraction of staying at 43-4, where the ocean is only 20 yards away, is the view of the island of Lanai, the whales, the surfers, the palm trees, the sunsets, and the warm trade winds.
