Puamana 160-2 offers a spectacular opportunity to enjoy oceanfront living at its best. Relax on your spacious lanai just 40 feet from the water’s edge, grilling, dining, and watching the ever-changing ocean vistas, surfers dancing on the waves, whales in season, sailboat races, and magical sunsets.
This spacious two-story home offers over 2,500 sq. ft. of living area, high-end finishes, three tastefully furnished en-suite bedrooms, two with king beds, one with twins, and the den with a queen sofa bed. The master bedroom steps out to a spacious deck, great for soaking up the Maui sunshine or taking in the ocean views and star-filled night skies. A dual-system central AC makes it easy for everyone to cool down after a fun day in the Maui sunshine. The home has quality finishes with granite countertops, limestone floors, and a spacious foyer with an elegant spiral staircase.
Thankfully, this home was safe in the large protected tropical oasis on the south shore of Puamana, unharmed by the Lahaina Fire. We’re also pleased to report that two grocery store complexes in Lahaina—Safeway and Foodland Farms—as well as Maui's renowned Hula show, the Old Lahaina Luau, and four excellent Lahaina restaurants—Ocean Tavern, Mala, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle—were not affected and are all less than a ten-minute drive away. While the Historic Clubhouse and townhomes on the north side of the property are processing permits to rebuild, you will still be able to enjoy the tropical oasis of low-rise homes that Puamana is famous for.

Beach Disclosure: While there is a golden sand beach at Puamana, a winter storm with heavy rains and large waves can occasionally wash away the sand. However, many beautiful beaches are nearby if you find yourself here during this time.

This is a beautiful house right on the water in a gated community. 1 bedroom and bath downstairs, then 2 bedrooms a den/sofa couch room upstairs and 2 bathrooms. We had a group of 5 and never felt like we were crawling over each other, which is sometimes the feeling you get when staying in smaller condos.

Very happy with our stay here in Maui! Highly recommend for a family group. Plenty of space for everyone, the 3 bathrooms were great. Unbelievable views of the ocean and the mountains. Saw rainbows, sea turtles, a shark fin, sting ray, and sea lion all from our house! The beach is perfect to walk on, for kids to play at and the bigger kids can catch waves with the boogie boards. 2 nice pools and the hosts were great at checking in to see if we needed anything. Thanks so much!

We had a really great week at 160-2! We’ve been to Puamana many times so we knew what to expect. The place has really great space. It feels like it may need a bit of a clear out. Some cupboards feel a little cluttered but it didn’t impact our stay at all. The kitchen is well stocked but could be decluttered and some items updated. Overall the location is unbeatable, the unit is so close to the ocean and we had an amazing stay in this unit. It is large and well outfitted for a big group! The Whalers team was amazing. We had a few little issues (empty propane, etc). They responded to us really quickly and solved the problems. Thanks for having us!

This place was absolutely beautiful! Management was great. This place was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy our 30th anniversary! Took all our adult children and spouse and had plenty of space and beauty to take in! Amenities need to be updated because there are hair dryers and beach towels in the unit. And when we were there the infinity pool was closed which was a bummer but having the ocean right there was awesome!

Our stay in Puamana was amazing. The property was just as described. The hosts were very helpful and quick to respond anytime we reached out. The house had plenty of space for our family of 7 and was stocked with all we needed to cook at home and BBQ. We loved being so close to the water that we could hear the ocean, and the views were stunning. The next time we come to Maui, we will without a doubt stay here again.

Everything was above what we expected. Well furnished and kitchen well stocked. Very clean and comfortable. All the beds very comfortable! The ocean and the beach right out the back door. We vacationed with a few of our adult children and we loved it and they did as well. The home was lovely, well stocked and beautifully decorated. We often sat on the Lanai and watched the whales spouting and breaching in the distant ocean. We tried many local restaurants and enjoyed a few of the nearby beaches. It was difficult to see the remains of the devastating fire in Lahaina, but the rebuilding that was going on was encouraging. It was a wonderful family time in a very nice setting.

What an amazing place!! The location is beautiful and exactly as described. The unit was perfect for our group. We came to Maui for a family vacation that included my 80 year old grandma. We were looking for a convenient location that included everything a home would expect. This place checked every box. From the ocean at your back door, to the amenities, to the comfortably beds, to the location to town. We cannot wait to come back and hope to re-book for next summer. All was wonderful. The house was roomy and comfortable with the beach right out the door, Lahaina was small but had everything we could need grocer if you want to cook all levels of restaurants if you dont shopping etc. No issues with staff or structures. Would return again.

We stayed in the subdivision of condos for the last six years. What I absolutely loved about this condo is it the kitchen was fully stocked with everything including pots and pans, appliances, dishware, and silverware, and every kitchen gadget you can imagine. I love to stay home and cook rather than eat out so this was a perfect place for that. The condo bedrooms are larger than I expected so we loved that. It was so clean and beautiful. We’re definitely coming back.

Loved our stay.
The house is right there on the ocean. We loved hearing the waves. It was easy to swim there. We didn’t cook but there was lots of silverware, plates and glasses. The house is a little dated and some of the kitchen cabinets were broken but it didn’t bother us.
