Try the New Indoor Trampoline Park on Your Maui Vacation

Maui's amazingly long list of recreational activities is about to get longer with the opening of a new indoor trampoline park in Kahului this December. Whether you're looking to try something different, you have kids with way too much energy, or you want to have fun out of the sun, this could be the perfect activity to complement an afternoon in Central Maui. This part of the island is a haven for those seeking a broad spectrum of shopping and dining outside of the high-end tourist areas, so a visit to this exciting new park could be the perfect highlight of a satisfying day.

The park is being opened by Ultimate Air LLC, which operates indoor trampoline parks in three other locations around the US. The company is owned by brothers Buddy and John Caubble, the latter of which is a Maui resident. Their new facility boasts no less than 25,000 square feet of indoor trampoline equipment, bordered by a whole lot of padding for safety. Unsurprisingly, the company chose Maui for their first trampoline park in Hawaii. Given the robust visitor industry here on the Valley Isle, they've most likely made the perfect choice.

Along with the many trampolines, the facility includes a trampoline dodgeball court area, a kiddie court area, foam pits, and performance trampoline walls. They really went all out on this one. There are plenty of things to do to have fun, and if you need refreshment and sustenance, they've also included a food and beverage area.

Located at 21 Laa Street in Kahului, the park is slated to open its doors by the end of the year. In fact, Ultimate Air Maui (UAM) is taking bookings through its website for events like birthday parties, school excursions, and team-building outings. If you're on a corporate retreat to Maui, the latter might just appeal to you. The website is pretty thorough and comprehensive, so take a look at www.ultimateairmaui.com if you're interested.

If you choose to go to the park, we recommend that you factor in about an hour of driving time to your schedule, if you're coming from one of our West Maui vacation rentals. Hopefully, you'll get a chance to enjoy this exciting new facility on your next trip. Alternatively, if you have friends or family going on a Maui vacation, and you think they might like the park, you can get gift cards on the website.
