This property is amazing! Beautiful inside and out...just feet from the ocean. Every room was welcoming. A lot of space to spread out, yet common areas to join together and celebrate. We enjoyed the ocean, the pool, and the surrounding areas. We visited Whalers Village, which was great! We only wished it was a little closer to the activities near the airport. You will WANT to get a rental car, trust me!

Great place. We loved it. Their were no beach, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards , coolers etc at the house. most of the places that we have stayed in on the island have these for guest. We had to buy or rent these items. Its a great convenience to have them at the house. The logistics and cost of renting these items is a burden. Otherwise, we loved the house and the location

Our jaws dropped when we saw that the ocean was literally feet away from the back patio! This super spacious home was plenty of room for seven of us, and honesty we could have squeezed 5 or 6 more in with the extra sofas and living area spaces. The home was well stocked and pleasantly decorated; the gated community it's in is super family friendly and very well maintained. Short distance from Lahaina (4 min drive, 20 minute walk). With our ocean front lanai and access to the private beach on property (plus 3 swimming pools), we barely wanted to leave the house! Would definitely recommend this property and will definitely be back!

Well equipped, great location, very clean. Sat on the couch and got the best sunset and ocean views. The upstairs king bedroom with the view is the best room in the house by far.

We couldn’t have been happier with this home and our experience with the rental agency. Communication was outstanding and the home was exactly as described, even better! Very comfortable with everything you could want on your vacation and the location to Lahaina is perfect. Peaceful and relaxing, we can’t wait to come back.

The condo is outstanding. Beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could want or need. The property inside and out is very well maintained. The view is awesome. There were 7 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Snorkeling gear and boogie boards were available and put to use every day. The management company was very helpful with answering questions before we came. Staff is very friendly from front desk to maintenance workers. I would highly recommend this property.

WE COULD NOT GET ENOUGH OF THE VIEW! The ocean is literally feet away from the back porch and that, combined with private beach and three swimming pools on property, had us barely wanting to leave the house! The home is thoughtfully stocked and decorated, comfortable and VERY spacious. There was more than enough room for seven adults, and that didn't include any of the fold out couches and living areas that would also be comfortable to sleep in. The gated community is very well maintained and is a short distance to Lahaina (4 min drive, 20 min walk). We LOVED staying here and will definitely be back!

The home was a great location, right on the ocean. You could hear the wa es breaking. The home was in great condition and very clean. It also was close to the pools. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing week in a gorgeous place. The home is lovely.....clean, spacious. We had 7 people comfortably stay together. The beach right outside the home was perfect for everyone....including a couple of cautious swimmers. The proximity to Old Town Lahaina is great. We can't wait to come back. Two maintenance issues......the portable AC Units upstairs all need repair. The hose keeps separating from the unit causing hot air to blow in. And....both screen doors (upstairs and down) need to have the tracks greased and realigned so the doors will function properly. Two minor and fixable issues. This place is amazing.

Our family try’s to get to Hawaii every other year and find the perfect place for all eight adults. Puamana knocked it out of the park. From the moment you step inside, you see the beautiful ocean views. The home was decorated very nicely and had more space than we could even use. We look forward to returning. The house was fantastic and the sunsets are amazing. The beach access is a short walk and is small and quiet. You can watch locals surf right outside your patio! The shops and restaurants near by are also great. We liked Cocos and Merrimans. Beaches to the north are a short drive and worth the trip and the local food trucks to the south are another big highlight of the location.

Sleeping to the crashing waves was such a bonus. The home offered everything we needed to relax in Maui and was a stone's throw from town. Next time we are renting paddle boards because this location is ideal for them.

We fell in love with this little secluded piece of Lahaina. The condo was awesome, clean, great water pressure and nice showers. The view is absolutely perfect, I wish I could wake up to that every day. I will 100% stay here again.

This place is so lovely. Everything is top quality from top quality linens to a fully appointed kitchen. It is great to come to a rental and find everything you need AND decent red wine glasses! We had a lovely stay and spent hours on the shaded Lanai listening to the surf and watching the turtles frolick! The water was so warm and we had the best swims. I am definitely coming back!

Our family had an amazing time in Maui and the property was the icing on the cake. I can't say enough about how this place made for amazing memories! The oceanside location provided a beautiful view all day long and easy access to the practically private beach was a bonus. The well stocked kitchen combined with a trip to Costco made breakfast and dinner on the lanai so enjoyable! The bedrooms were very comfortable; especially the master suite with balcony. The spectacular sunsets were icing on the cake.

This location was outstanding! You could not get closer to the beautiful ocean than this. We had a whale just off the coast that visited several days in a row. The townhouse was beautiful and you could not ask for more in the primary bedroom with its expansive deck and ocean views. The complex is clean and everyone was so friendly. It is in a great location. Great for families.

We had an issue during our stay but it was rectified to our satisfaction and really made our stay even more enjoyable. We will be back!

This condo is absolutely gorgeous. Beautiful kitchen and living room overlooking the ocean and out onto the lanai. The sliding doors open the whole way bringing the outside in where you can feel the warm air and hear the lap of the ocean. The master bedroom is gorgeous with its own deck amd beautiful bathrooms and the other 2 bedrooms are perfect for a family. The sunsets are stunning from your own patio and the grounds are spectacular. We never wanted to leave this little paradise. The town of lanai is an easy walk or bike ride and so fun to explore. We will definately go back.

Overall, the stay here was great.
The pros:
Great views of the ocean
Clean, comfortable and quiet home!
Each room had a fan and AC unit
Well designed bathrooms and kitchen.

The cons:
The beds and pillows were not the most comfortable. The mattress was hard and the pillows were flat.
The only issues we had were regarding getting supplies. Towels were not available but a quick call resolved that. We also couldn’t find additional paper towels as well and were unable to reach anyone by phone to request more of it. However, these are just minor issues and everything else was great.

This property is literally 20 yards from the ocean. The living room has a glass/screen door that allows you to open up the whole wall to the ocean. One bedroom on the second floor also has a deck to get even greater views. The community has a private beach with mostly sand and three pools. You can also easily walk to downtown Lahaina about a mile away. The perfect place to stay for four adults and an 11 year old. The pictures do not do this condo justice - it's fantastic!

Stayed at this location for 7 nights. The location, 5 minute bike ride from Lahaina center is great. Its in a gated community so private, quiet, and safe. Right on the beach (although one cannot jump right over the shrubbery onto beach, have to walk about 50 feet for beach access). The beach itself is beautiful, be sure to wear reef shoes. The community is nice, remember to get a parking pass from the community center.
One covered parking space. There is a hose nearby to wash off sand (and also an outside shower by the patio). The kitchen has all the appliances and they are new and clean. New washer and dryer as well along with detergent. There are a few books and games, a few extra sets of snorkel gear. The living room opens onto the lanai with great views of...Lanai.
The patio furniture is nice, there is a grill, and there are extra bodyboards there. There is a hammock that we did not use.
There is also a bathroom on the first floor.

This is an absolutely beautiful beach front home with a stunning view. Its location is great for reaching many different activities such as snorkeling, ziplining, and parasailing. It is also in close proximity to many restaurants. The interior of the house is comfortable and nicely furnished. Our family enjoyed our stay here tremendously and look forward to returning again soon!

This townhome on the ocean was so perfect for our family of 6 adults. The rental was recently updated so it was like new and very clean. Our favorite features were daily spectacular sunsets, snorkeling right off the back yard, coffee on the lanai and BBQ dinners utilizing the thoughtfully stocked kitchen and accessories. The beds were comfortable and we fell asleep to the sounds of surf! I definitely look forward to returning to this rental.

This was a wonderful waterfront vacation rental!! We were a party of 6 and it was perfect. We cook in nearly all meals and this was an extremely well equipped kitchen. I loved the remodel and modern decor. Whale watching was a daily treat! We had the master and every night I went to sleep to the crashing waves and salty breezes. I never closed those doors for any night and didn’t even need to turn on the fan. We stayed 7 nights the first week of March. Such a memorable place!! ✈️

Our family stayed here for 5 nights. The checkin and checkout was easy. We absolutly loved the home, it was just perfect for me, my husband and kids. Every morning coffee looking over the ocean was heaven for me. The sunsets were amazing. Spotted some turtles in the waves. The property was very neat and had every thing we needed. kids loved the swimming pool and playing at the beach. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Maui.

This is a townhouse condominium that looks directly across the Pacific Ocean to the island of Lanai. The development is from the mid1960s but the unit was recently renovated. It is conveniently located at the southern end of Front Street making for an easy drive to Lahaina and quick access to the highway to get to the other towns in Maui.

We had a great stay at Puamana. The community is well maintained and quiet. Our condo was well stocked with cookware, appliances, etc. We had a beautiful view of Lanai and were super close to the shore (~120 ft). The water is shallow with light surf - not a snorkeling beach, but great for a quick dip. It's rocky though, so wear shoes. This complex is close enough to town that you could walk to Front Street for shopping and restaurants (1.3 miles about 20-25 min walk). It's a 5 min. drive to the free public parking lot (3 hr max) at the south end of Front Street. About 15 min. drive to Ka'anapali Beach, and a 55 min. drive to Makena Beach.
All in all a great place to stay.

As usual our stay was fantastic. We have stayed in Pumanau for over 15 years. The unit location was great, but the upstairs needs a lot of help. Well equipped kitchen. If they update the bathrooms upstairs I think that would be great.

The location of this condo is fabulous. It is on the lawn with an unfettered view of the ocean. There were beach chairs, boogie boards and a beach umbrella available for guest use which was much appreciated. The condo has sufficient kitchenware so that we could cook meals for our family of four. The unit itself could use an update. There are no screens on the master bedroom windows which makes it hard to leave windows open at night so as to hear the waves. The air conditioning units in the bedrooms are loud but effective. The family room has an old-fashioned sliding door to get outside and then windows across the rest of the patio. There's not much airflow but the view is spectacular. The property was clean and there were additional towels and blankets available for guest use. We arrived on a Sunday and had to bother the manager several times to get access. She was kind and patient with us. We enjoyed Puamana quite a lot and found this unit to be satisfactory. It could be truly incredible, with a few upgrades...

We were 3 couples and two children which turned out to be a perfect number. We arrived to a home that was easy to get into and spotlessly clean. We had 2 rental cars and parked one in the designated spot and paid to park the second one in a nearby unreserved space. My husband and I stayed in the master suite upstairs. It was wonderful to sleep with the sound of the crashing waves and wake up to the unobstructed view of the sea. The suite included a sitting area and a large and 2-sink bathroom. There is a small deck with two chairs and a little table - perfect for an early-morning cup of coffee and watching the kids playing on the beach. The 2 main bedrooms downstairs were large and comfortable. In fact all the beds were supremely comfortable. We all slept really well. The small bedroom with 2 twin beds was perfect for the 2 10-year olds. The kitchen was large and well-appointed with everything we needed to make simple meals. The large table on the patio was perfect for meals with the whole family. The location is really the best thing about this condo. A quick walk (20 yards?) and you’re at the little opening where you can access the beach. Along the way is a little outdoor shower for rinsing off. The beach itself is uncrowded - just the other condo residents - and the waves were always just right for body surfing, even for the girls. All in all, this is no doubt an exceptional way to spend a week in Maui. I would highly recommend it!

Condo had all the basics to start the stay. Beds very comfortable. Large table for dining and cards very important. We enjoyed the unit and highly recommend to those that follow you will not be disappointed.

We had eight adult family members and all really enjoyed our stay, though one room, as correctly advertised, had smaller children’s beds that required us to push together for one couple, so this is a better property for 6 adults maximum I would say. The door lock was funky and a challenge to open and lock, and i think is in need of replacement. We were greeted by a few unwelcome friends on the floor when we arrived (mostly dead), which surprised us because we felt the unit was very clean, and noticed no intruders the rest of the week. The location on the beach was awesome; the master bedroom my wife and I never wanted to leave. Our family had rented a very extravagant place in Kauai the week before, and an informal poll of which they liked better leaned toward staying in this unit if they had to choose again, which I think says a lot.

We had a great stay. It is an end unit so it was very quiet, private, and the views were incredible. Great layout for our family and the pools within the community were great for the kids. Close proximity to downtown Lahaina. Not close enough for us to walk but a very short drive. The parking situation was very easy for both of our cars as well. The house had plenty of beach towels which was an added bonus.

The perfect unit for our family of 8 adults and 1 child. We stayed for 7 nights and had a wonderful experience. Our adult children with their spouses had their own bedrooms and bathrooms. My husband and I love having our private upstairs area. It had an open layout that opens to a full ocean view where we spent most of our time. The unit is steps to the beach and pool. It is clean and nicely furnished, complete with amenities. It is in a great location, short drive to town. The management was easy to deal with. Everything was explained via email prior to our arrival and received follow up instructions by text. I didn’t have to contact them for anything while there, it was all arranged. We will definitely recommend and would love to return.

We had been looking forward to this vacation for months and we were very happy with this rental. We were with our 2 adult children and their spouses and our 16 month old grandchild. We all loved it! It has a great, open living space and 3 bedrooms, each with a full bathroom on the first floor. Upstairs is only the large master suite with a beautiful ocean view from the bedroom with an outdoor deck. Everything was decorated beautifully. When we were not out and about, we spent most of our time on the spacious lanai enjoying the ocean view. The beach was just steps away. We discovered Puamana when our kids were young and have been staying here over the past 25 years whenever we visit Maui. This is our favorite happy place!

We seriously won’t ever stay anywhere else again! This home was absolutely incredible. The views are fantastic, the pictures don’t do it justice. The decor and finishes are top notch. The kitchen and laundry was perfect for our large family. You can stop searching cause if you’ve found this listing, you’ve found your rental!

The units configuration fit our families to a T. Three king beds and two twins. The furniture needs a serious updating, especially the outdoor furnishings. Very uncomfortable. Unable to just lounge outside and enjoy the view for any length of time.

We wanted a private home to avoid crowds at a resort. This home was beyond our expectations!! Beautiful, clean, tons of space and the best of the best was location. You can’t get any closer to the water unless your in it!

Puamana was built in the 60’s and looks it. This unit has been fully refurbished and looks fantastic inside. New everything and everything you need in a vacation rental. They should put a safe for your valuables.

Vacation Maui will get you to download an app for some reason to “enhance your stay”. I’m not sure why as they don’t respond to messages on it. Other than that they were good to deal with.

Great place to stay! There was 5 of us staying here and we had plenty of room. The location is perfect!

The pictures didn't do this unit justice. It was very clean, spacious and comfortable. Every morning you woke up to the sound of crashing waves and the surfers. The unit comes with everything you need. The grounds the unit is on are very tropical and calming. The clubhouse is gorgeous and had an incredible extensive library. No need to pack any books. We found a quiet piece of paradise by the clubhouse that was out of the way right on the water with lounge chairs that over looked the harbor in Lahaina. On a side note, we had a personal chef come in for my 40th birthday which was incredible. We asked him back for a second night. It's what you would pay at any top restaurant and you don't have to drive home! His email is gotchefmaui@gmail.com. He is so worth it!

Just returned from Maui where we rented the Puamana 19-1 property for 10 days. Just an incredible beachfront setting with multiple sliding windows that opens up the entire condo to the ocean. The condo is well appointed with everything you would need for entertainment (great sound system), cooking, beach excursions, etc. Excellent kitchen, living room and porch area with all open to the great ocean view. Nice gas BBQ and utensils for grilling. On the negative side the beds were a little firm and bathrooms are getting to the point of needing a little "refreshing" although they were clean. Those negatives take a distant back seat to the other great attributes of this property. My family would return to Puamana 19-1 in a heartbeat.

Great accommodation. We had two families which included four children, the house is large enough that you are not on top of eachother. The bedrooms are large as well as the common areas. The view is magnificent. The beach at your doorstep is great for dips in the morning and after a days sightseeing. All mod cons are there. Free wi-fi popular with teenagers. Be aware that the town centre - great for dinner, is a 15-20 mins walk. in the heat of the day not so pleasent with children and it cannot be done along the beachfront. Everyone says get a car in Maui and after 2 days we relented and is the way to go, Very easy to get around even for us right hand side drivers. We enjoyed it very much and would stay there again.

We brought our family of six to Puamana. It was not the first time to Puamana, but it was the first time that my wife an I could get our son and wife, daughter and youngest son all together in one place. It was awesome! From watching the surfers on the lanai with coffee in the morning to casual dinner in the evening it was the perfect spot. Four extra comfortable bedrooms, wide open layout, gourmet kitchen all in a private and quiet setting. Of course you are just a short walk to Lahaina for all of the shopping and nightlife you can handle. 19-1 being a corner unit makes entering and exiting easy and allows for a more open floorplan. The views do not get any better than this and you can try a little surfing yourself.

Our condo was great! Spacious and well equipped with everything you need for a week's stay. It was comfy and clean. The Puamana grounds are lush and well kept.

Puamana and this unit are a perfect place to stay on Maui! Close to Lahaina but quiet and spacious grounds make it feel like a resort! The pools are beautiful and the staff manage guests well. Absolutely lovely! The unit was great for our four adult guests and everything we needed was provided in the unit. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect place for our family of 4 - 3 of us novice surfers. The community is safe, quiet, and very well maintained. Our condo backed against the main road so occasionally was a little loud in the back yard but we weren't there for the back yard. The ocean and beach was a very short pleasant walk... like 100 yards and had decent small surf when everywhere else was flat. Pools were great, one overlooking the ocean at the clubhouse, and two more throughout the property. Condo kitchen was well outfitted and even had some storage containers for leftovers. Beach/pool towels were a welcome surprise too. Oh, and 3 bathrooms... lastly, don't feed the chickens. seriously... We had a great time, we'll be back!

Beautiful location off south Front St. Spacious, 5 adults moved around with ease. Ammenities just as described. Extras on hand for the beach were so handy and welcomed (something NO hotel provides!). Would definitely stay again and again!

Great times other than an annoying neighbour that wouldn't stop smoking. Staff tried but the smokers wouldn't no mater what security tried. Ugh...

Near perfect experience. A few issues with cleaning/maintenance, but nothing that was a deal- breaker.

Extremely comfortable and very clean townhome in a beautiful and quiet complex close to Lahaina town. The home had everything one would need for an hawaiian vacation including use of snorkel equipment, lawn chairs and beach towels. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the equipment and utensils one would require. Although this unit was not directly on beachfront the walk to the beach access area was only a minute away. The only minor downside to this particular unit is that it backs on to a very busy and loud road which one can hear in the back bedroom. It did not particularly bother me at night as I am used to road noise. The complex is exceptionally well maintained with gorgeous gardens, a fabulous beach (with visiting turtles) and the staff and residents were courteous and friendly. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to planning my next vacation for next year!
