The Renovation of Lahaina is underway. Fortunately, a tropical oasis of 130 properties, including this home on the south shore of Puamana, survived the Lahaina Fire. Maui County has now cleared this section of Puamana for access and confirmed that all utilities, including water, were thoroughly tested by the EPA and are in good, safe condition. As a result, we can safely welcome guests back to enjoy this beautiful home with a kitchen, dining, and living room, all oriented to the spacious lanai and expansive oceanfront views. The second bedroom is a small open loft with a queen bed and a large skylight. 46-2 has a clean, spacious, open light and bright feeling. Located on the very North side of the project, it offers privacy and a dramatic oceanfront setting with an open lawn flowing off the lanai.
Puamana is a gated 30-acre community. The Historic Clubhouse and 94 townhomes on the north side of the property were destroyed in the Lahaina fire. Their building sites are cleared, and their plans and permits await county approval. Access in this area is restricted. Furthermore, Lahaina Town is currently off-limits while rebuilding is in progress. You will notice the building sites as you drive down the highway and enter the gate at Puamana. Once over the bridge, you will enter the tropical oasis of low-rise homes that Puamana is famous for. Two grocery stores in Lahaina and their shopping complexes, Safeway and Foodland Farms, survived the fire and are just a 10-minute drive away. Maui's best Hula show, the Old Lahaina Lua, also survived, along with four excellent restaurants: Ocean Tavern, Mala’s, Aloha Mixed Plate, and Star Noodle, all located on the ocean side of the Safeway Shopping Complex.

The location of the unit and the property couldn't be better. The unit was clean and adequately equipped. There is not a sofa bed, as it describes in the listing. We made due with someone on the cpuch for the first night. We were provided an air mattress the next day that worked just as well for us. The communication with the property manager was great.
